(Found on Google Images, represents storytelling)

Reading through the expectations of storytelling for this semester, I am honestly really excited. I have always had a passion for writing and bringing ideas to life, so being given the freedom to do exactly that for this course is very encouraging.
My reason for choosing this photo is because of the story itself tells. As the viewer, we are able to come up with our own context of what the backstory could be. But, what's common for any interpretation, is that the speaker is captivating the audience. Whatever words, gestures, or emotion that is being transferred from the speaker to the people in the crowd engages them to want more; and that is what storytelling is all about. We have the ability to take people somewhere they've never been, and that's one of the greatest powers of storytelling.
